The Unkai Maru is a 305 ft. long, five hold freighter.
The main deck of the Unkai Maru is about 100 ft. deep. The ship is upright on the bottom.
One of the more interesting areas of this ship was the forecastle, shown here.
Atop the forecastle was this heavily encrusted 3" deck cannon.
The ship's bridge, made of wood, burned after the bombing and collapsed into the ship, only the framework remains.
This pile of lanterns was in a small locker in the forecastle.
